GradVix website terms
These Terms of Use explain the rules for using gradvix.com, its articles, study-abroad research, downloads and contact features. Please read them before using the website.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you access or use gradvix.com, including its articles, category pages, GradVix Abroad resources, downloadable material and website contact features (the “Website”). In these Terms, “GradVix”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Website.
By using the Website, you indicate that you have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website. The Disclaimer forms part of the conditions under which the Website’s information is provided.
2. The editorial Website and the GradVix app
gradvix.com
These Terms govern the editorial Website: career guides, study-abroad research, category pages and the Website contact form.
app.gradvix.com
Accounts, AI career tools, paid access, payments and product support are also subject to the app’s current Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
If a product-specific term conflicts with these Website Terms about an app account, product feature, payment or refund, the product-specific term applies to that product matter. A link between the Website and app does not remove the need to review the terms presented for the service you use.
3. Eligibility and authority
You may use the Website only if you can do so lawfully and can understand these Terms. If you are under the age at which you can enter a binding agreement where you live, use the Website only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Do not submit personal information through the contact form unless you are authorised to provide it.
If you use the Website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation and that both you and the organisation will follow these Terms.
4. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms, GradVix gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to access the Website for personal research, education, career preparation and other lawful internal purposes.
You may:
- read, bookmark and link to public GradVix pages;
- use checklists and examples to support your own decision-making;
- print or save a reasonable extract for personal, non-commercial reference;
- quote a limited portion with clear attribution and a link, where permitted by law; and
- send a correction, technical report, privacy request or relevant editorial enquiry through the contact form.
5. Prohibited use
You must not use the Website to:
- break a law, infringe another person’s rights, deceive, impersonate or harass anyone;
- upload or transmit malicious code, harmful files, spam or automated abuse;
- interfere with security, availability, rate limits, access controls or normal operation;
- probe for vulnerabilities or gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
- collect personal data from the Website or its users without a lawful basis;
- use automated extraction at a volume or frequency that burdens the Website or reproduces a substantial part of it;
- republish, sell, license or present substantial GradVix content as your own;
- remove copyright, source, attribution or other proprietary notices; or
- use GradVix names, logos or content to suggest an endorsement, partnership or guaranteed outcome that has not been authorised.
Normal search-engine indexing, accessibility tools and reasonable non-commercial quotation are not prohibited merely because they use automated or technical processes.
6. Contact messages, comments and other submissions
If you submit a message, correction, comment, source, suggestion or other material to the Website, you remain responsible for it. You confirm that:
- you are entitled to submit it;
- it is not knowingly false, unlawful, defamatory, infringing or malicious;
- it does not contain passwords, payment information, identity documents or unnecessary sensitive personal data; and
- sharing it does not breach another person’s confidentiality or privacy.
You retain any ownership rights you have. You give GradVix a limited permission to store, review, reproduce internally and use the submission as reasonably necessary to respond, moderate, investigate a report, protect the Website or improve the relevant content. GradVix is not required to publish, accept or respond to a submission.
7. Intellectual property
The Website’s original text, design, graphics, branding, page structure and other protected material belong to GradVix or the relevant rights holder. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
Facts, public records and third-party material remain subject to their own legal status and source terms. GradVix’s selection, explanation and presentation of information may still be protected. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under applicable law, including lawful quotation, criticism, review or other permitted use.
8. Editorial information, examples and AI assistance
The Website provides general information, research frameworks, examples and planning tools. Some editorial work may use AI for outlining, comparison, drafting, editing or quality checks. AI output is not an authority and may be incomplete or wrong.
You are responsible for checking important information and for the decisions you make. In particular, confirm current rules, fees, deadlines, eligibility, accreditation, recognition and application requirements with the responsible official organisation. Read the GradVix Disclaimer for the specific limits that apply to career, ATS and study-abroad content.
9. Third-party websites and services
The Website links to governments, universities, regulators, employers, platforms, scholarship providers and other third parties. These links may help research, but GradVix does not control third-party availability, security, content, decisions or terms. A link is not automatically an endorsement.
When you leave GradVix, the third party’s own terms and privacy practices apply. You are responsible for reviewing them before creating an account, uploading a document, applying, paying or relying on the service.
10. Website availability and changes
GradVix may add, update, correct, suspend or remove Website content or features. We do not promise that every page, link or feature will remain available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. Maintenance, hosting issues, third-party changes and events outside reasonable control can affect access.
Publication schedules, planned services and statements about future features are not binding commitments unless GradVix expressly states otherwise in a written offer or product-specific term.
11. Warranties and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Website is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that its content will be complete, current, suitable for a particular purpose or free from errors. GradVix does not warrant a particular ATS score, shortlist, interview, job, admission, scholarship, visa, employment or migration result.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GradVix is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of—or inability to use—the Website, reliance on general information, or conduct of a third party. This includes loss connected with an application, deadline, payment to a third party, employment decision, admission decision or immigration outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If applicable consumer law gives you mandatory rights, those rights continue to apply.
12. Enforcement and general terms
Restriction of access
GradVix may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, unlawful use or a material breach of these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Website, law or operating practices. The effective or reviewed date will be changed when the page is revised. If you continue to use the Website after updated Terms take effect, the updated Terms apply to that later use.
Severability and no waiver
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Applicable law
These Terms operate subject to applicable law and mandatory rights in the place relevant to the dispute. This page does not designate a specific court or override protections that the law does not allow parties to waive.
13. Questions and legal notices
For a question about these Website Terms, use the Contact GradVix form and choose a clear subject such as “Terms of Use”. For an app account, payment or refund matter, use the GradVix app contact page and review the product-specific legal pages first.
